ARDALION (Saint) Martyr (April 14) (4th century) An actor whose mimicry of the Christian Mysteries was very popular with Pagan audiences. During a performance in a city in Asia Minor, he suddenly proclaimed himself a Christian and was roasted alive in the public square (A.D. 300).
