Book of Saints – Archippus

ARCHIPPUS (Saint) (March 20) (1st century) A fellow-worker with Saint Paul, who mentions him by name in two of his Epistles (Philemon 2; Colossians 4:17). Greek tradition places him among Christ’s seventy-two disciples. Again, it was an opinion popular in early and mediaeval times that he was the first Bishop of the Colossians.
