Book of Saints – Antonina – 11 June

ANTONINA (Saint) Martyr (June 11) (3rd century) A Martyr of Nicaea in Bithynia during the persecution of Diocletian. By order of the governor, Priscillian, she was scourged, placed on the rack, torn with iron hooks and finally beheaded (A.D. 290). She is perhaps one and the same with the Saint Antonina of March 1.
