Book of Saints – Anthusa – 27 August


ANTHUSA (Saint) Martyr (August 27) (Date uncertain) Called Saint Anthusa the Younger, to distinguish her from Saint Anthusa of Seleucia (August 22). She was probably a Persian, and suffered in that country. She is said to have been sewn up in a sack and drowned in a well.
