ALEXANDRA, CLAUDIA, EUPHRASIA, MATRONA, JULIANA, EUPHEMIA, THEODOTA, DERPHUTA, and a SISTER OF DERPHUTA (Saints) Martyrs (March 20) (4th century) Christian women, natives of Amissus in Paphlagonia (Asia Minor), burned to death on account of their religion in that town, under the Emperors Diocletian and Maximinian (about A.D. 300).
