Book of Saints – Albinus – 26 October


ALBINUS (Saint) Bishop (October 26) (7th century) An Anglo-Saxon Saint, by name Witta, who took the name Albinus, a Latinised form, when setting out as a fellow-worker with Saint Boniface in the conversion of Germany. One of the new Missionary Bishoprics in that country was allotted to him.
